The emphasis of Pu Tai Education is on nurturing ethically aware individuals and intellectuals for the next generation. Large student grants and scholarships are awarded to reward best all-round students. After graduating from university, the Pu Tai Senior High School Alumni may take part in a long-term school education program for their further master’s and PhD studies.

Pu Tai Senior High School was founded by the “Non-profit Chung Tai Shan Buddhist Educational Foundation”, which raised funds for the establishment of the school. The organization has an impeccable financial system and follows strict regulations. It is not a profit-making temporary association, but a responsible permanent educational organization.

In order to put our students onto the international stage, the Senior High School continues with the foreign language courses (English, Japanese, French, and Spanish), already introduced at Pu Tai Elementary and Junior High School. Our programs accentuate not only foreign language teaching and usage, but also an understanding of the countries’ histories, cultures, social structures, and customs. During winter and summer vacations, we organize overseas language study tours to broaden the students’ minds.
