The Land of the Buddha presents a complete display of rare Thai Buddhist statues in Taiwan.

 

Sculptural art is a mirror of history, reflecting the ideology, aesthetics, society and culture of different times and places. Throughout the history of Buddhism in Thailand, there have been many different forms of buddha statues, each reflecting one’s experience of Buddhadharma. These works of art, refined by the mind and carved by the hand, offer a glimpse into the dialogue between Buddhism and Thai culture.
